(USING THE FIVE SENSES AND SPECIFIC LANGUAGE)

Exercise Two: Use each of your senses to describe something (or someone) in your home or outside - - Look, listen, smell, taste, and touch. (If you choose, write a few descriptions by relying on your imagination alone.)

Examples
A) Sight - Like gold in a dark cave, the lion's mane flashed through the jungle.
B) Hearing - Snapping in the wind, the sails of the ship reflected sunlight.

ASSIGNMENT SEVEN
Write an entry for the Five Senses division of your journal. Describe a scene by using at least three of your five senses. You can describe your room, your back yard, a favourite nature spot, or anything else you choose.
